Have you ever thought about the psychology of colors? What they mean, how they attract the eye, and what kind of emotions they bring out in people? While you may not have ever thought it would be relevant, when you’re trying to create an effective retail display, color is everything.

So, before you stick with the same old, same old, learn more about the emotional responses colors can evoke and start strategizing ways to incorporate them into your retail display shelves:

Think about how you can use colors to excite your customers and make your products stand out. For summer, think about using yellow and oranges to bring out the cheerfulness and warmth of the season.
